Key Responsibilities
In this workshop-based role, you will be responsible for the careful restoration of customer blinds. Your core tasks will include:
- Professionally cleaning a wide range of blind types (including roller, vertical, Venetian, and more) using specialised techniques and equipment.
- Performing repairs on mechanisms, cords, and components to restore full functionality.
- Inspecting blinds for faults and determining the appropriate cleaning or repair method.
- Handling all items with care, whether collected by our technicians or dropped off by customers directly at the depot.
- Ensuring each finished product meets our high standard of quality before it is returned to the customer.
- Maintaining a tidy, organised, and safe workshop environment.
Qualifications
We value practical ability and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:
- A natural aptitude for hands-on, manual tasks and a methodical approach to work.
- Good attention to detail and a focus on producing quality, finished results.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new, specialised skills.
- Full training will be provided, so prior experience in blind repair is not required we will consider candidates who can demonstrate relevant practical skills.
- Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid NZ work visa.
