Key Responsibilities
You will be an integral part of our small, collaborative team, ensuring our campus shines. Your duties will be varied and essential:
- Performing high-standard cleaning across different areas of the school, including classrooms, offices, boarding houses, and kitchen facilities.
- Completing laundry duties as required for the boarding houses.
- Working efficiently both independently and as part of the team to complete all tasks to a specified schedule.
- Taking ownership of your areas, ensuring they are consistently clean, tidy, and well-presented.
- Using equipment and cleaning products safely and effectively.
- Demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude to meet the changing needs of a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual with:
- Essential: Previous cleaning experience in a busy commercial or institutional environment.
- Experience within a school or large facility would be a distinct advantage.
- A strong team player attitude with the ability to also work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- A high level of personal pride in your work and an eye for detail.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, can-do approach.
- Full Permanent New Zealand residency is a mandatory requirement for this position.
