Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance across the centre, including floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Follow daily cleaning checklists and safety procedures to meet all health, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed to ensure continuous availability.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.
- Support the team in implementing compliance procedures and maintaining centre cleanliness at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with the setup of activity areas or other tasks as required to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably in childcare, school, or healthcare settings.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education is not mandatory but considered an advantage.
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
